I take pictures of just about everything!  I love photographing babies, children, teens, families, and my son’s sporting events. Prior to becoming a photographer, I was a classroom teacher for 13 years.  I have held teaching licenses and have taught grades 5-12 in Maryland, Ohio, Missouri, Utah, and Colorado.  I currently hold a Master Teacher Certificate in the state of Colorado and have a B.A. in English and an M.Ed.  I earned my National Board Teaching Certificate in 2002. After the birth of my son in 2010, I resigned from teaching and decided to direct my creative energy toward raising my son, managing my home, buying and selling real estate, starting my home decorating business, (www.apercudecor.com) spending time with my family, volunteering in my community and documenting life in photos.  I am passionate about living a joyful and fulfilled life and I try my best to capture most of it in my photographs.
